👋 Agreement to Terms

By downloading or using Solace ("the App"), developed by SolAppLab ("we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

✅ Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Solace. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

🌙 About the App

Solace is a personal journaling and mood-tracking app with an AI-powered chat feature. It is designed for everyday self-reflection and journaling purposes only.

      Solace is not a medical, clinical, or professional advisory service of any kind.
      The AI chat feature provides general conversational responses and is not a substitute
      for professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for any concerns
      requiring expert guidance.
    

💬 Free & Pro Plans

Solace offers both a free tier and a paid Pro subscription:

Free plan: A limited number of daily messages with access to core features.
Pro plan ($4.99/month): Higher message limits, AI-generated weekly mood summaries, and deeper insights.

Subscriptions are billed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and are subject to the respective store's billing and refund policies. You may cancel at any time through your store account settings.

🚫 Prohibited Use

You agree not to use Solace to:

Post or share content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, threatening, or harassing.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App or its quota systems.
Use the App for any unauthorized commercial purpose.
Impersonate any person or entity.
Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

🤖 AI-Generated Responses

The AI chat feature generates responses automatically based on your input. These responses are provided for general informational and journaling purposes only and may not always be accurate or complete. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and act on any information provided by the AI.

📝 User Content

You retain ownership of the journal entries and messages you create in the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the app's features, such as transmitting your messages to the AI service to generate replies. We do not claim ownership of your content.

⚖️ Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SolAppLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

🔄 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page to reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
